This news magazine program examines three major stories in the North Central Florida region: the history, cleanup and controversy surrounding the Koppers Superfund Site, the question of whether to restore the Ocklawaha River by removing Kirkpatrick Dam in Putnam County, and a look at the University of Florida¹s quest to become a top-10 public university, and how it fits with Gainesville¹s innovation community. The program is hosted by UF CJC alumna, Myra Monroe, and graduate students Keran Billaud and Steven Gallo report. Insight Florida airs in November and December on Florida’s 5, WUFT-TV, the PBS affiliate of North Central Florida.
